Healing can be a scary process, but it’s not as scary as what you’ve already lived through.

Individual Therapy

You’ve tried to get past it, forget about it, told yourself it “wasn’t a big deal”, but you’re in pain. Maybe you notice feeling scared and mistrusting of others, having mood swings, or feeling down about yourself. Trauma can take many different forms, so often we don’t realize what we’ve gone through until we unpack it with someone safe.

I can be that person for you.

Couple Therapy

Trauma impacts every person in a survivor’s life, especially a partner. Maybe you aren’t sure how to talk about what happened, how to feel safe with each other, or how to communicate boundaries. I help people who have experienced trauma and are seeing it impact their relationships. I am open and celebrate all forms of partnership, including non-traditional, non-monogamous, and LGBTQ+ partners.

(EMDR) Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy

I use EMDR in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities, for some individual clients. This can be done in-person AND virtually! If you are interested in EMDR Therapy, we can discuss whether it would be a good fit for you!

“Life as a therapist is a life of service in which we daily transcend our personal wishes and turn our gaze toward the needs and growth of the other. We take pleasure not only in the growth of our patient but also in the ripple effect—the salutary influence our patients have upon those whom they touch in life.”
― Irvin D. Yalom, The Gift of Therapy

“As long as you keep secrets and suppress information, you are fundamentally at war with yourself…The critical issue is allowing yourself to know what you know. That takes an enormous amount of courage.”
